Ethel I. Waltz Simpson, 81, Indianapolis, died Wednesday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, with calling from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. She had worked at the U.S. Army Finance and Accounting Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison, retiring in 1971.

She was the widow of Wayne E. Simpson.

Survivors: daughters, Carol A. Moore and Wilma M. Carmack; son, Kenneth W. Simpson; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
