Deloss W. Walters, 51, of near Otterbein, was killed Wednesday of last week when a tornado struck his home, he was a native of Monon, and had also lived in Brookston before moving 15 years ago. His marriage in 1948 was to Dorothy Vaughan. A farmer he was a member of Elmwood Avenue Church of Christ and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Cathy (Mrs. George) Ervin of Fowler and Miss Connie Walters, at home; one son, Kevin Walters, at home; two brothers, Lee Walters of Williamsport and Ralph Walters of Monon; five sisters, Mrs. Dale Goss of Arcadia, Mrs. Jake Guimond of Kankakee, IL, Mrs. Larry Bureau of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Lloyd Griffin of Reynolds, and Mrs. Fred Shide of Rensselaer; also one grandchild.
Services were Monday at Brookston with interment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
