Mildred A. (Walsh) Brown, 90, of East Hartford, CT, beloved wife of the late Edward E. Brown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, (January 13, 2007) at a local convalescent home. Mrs. Brown was born in Lawrence, MA and had been a longtime resident of the East Hartford community.
She loved music and had been a member of the South End Senior Citizens Center of East Hartford where she was the club's pianist.
She is survived by her son, Brian E. Brown and his wife, Colette of Windsor; and by her daughter, Jacqueline Guillon of Conklin, NY. She also leaves her three grandsons, Kerey Brown of Windsor, Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeremy Brown of the United States Navy and his fiancee, Colleen Pierce both of Middletown, and Thomas Guillon and his wife, Karen of Endwell, NY; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her ten siblings; and by her son-in-law, Jack Guillon.
The committal service will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Fidelco Guide Dogs, 103 Old Iron Ore Rd., Bloomfield, CT 06002.
