Again death has entered our midst, this time taking the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Wallingford, Doris Wallingford was seven years old, and had been ill about two weeks of pneumonia. She had attended the Altamont grade school until Christmas when her parents thought it best to take her out, on account of the danger of getting mumps as she had always had a weak heart. The sympathy of the entire community is with the bereave parents, grand-parents, sisters and brothers. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the M.E. church, in Altamont.
