Ethan L. Waller, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away October 10, 2012. He was born December 12, 1943 to the late Ethan and Bessie (Christianson) Waller in

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Byers) Waller; sons, John (Michelle) Clair and Chris Waller; daughters, LeAnne (Ed) Hardeman, Rebekah (Brian) Johnson, and Deborah (Wes) Bruton; and 10 grandchildren.
Ethan was a retired pharmacist and ordained minister. His love of people was one of the most endearing characterstics. He never met a stranger and could make a joke about any situation.

He graduated from Union high School located on the Indiana/Ohio state line in College Corner. Ethan received his pharmacy degree from Bulter University and later attended Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, becoming a ordained minster. He served several chuched in Southern Indiana before returning to Pharmacy. After retirement, he worked for a pharmacy relief agency and traveled around the the state filling in for pharmacists who were sick or on vacation.

Ethan was very active in his church, St Luke's United Methodist. He was an active Mason of Lodge 126 in Millersville, Indiana. He also enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, golfing and square dancing. He loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 100 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260, or to Outreach ministries, Inc. Donations to the Outreach may be made payable to St. Luke's UMC with Outreach Ministries on the memo line. Outreach is an organization that helps homeless teens with meals, counseling, a location they can come to for a showers, etc. May of the teens they have helped have managed to graduate from high school or get thier GED and some have gone one to college.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in the main sanctuary.
