The family of Annie E. Morgan is saddened to inform you of her death on April 17, 2005. Annie was born July 17, 1917, to Norwegian immigrants, Peder and Inga Walle, in Purdy, WA. She continued to make Purdy home for her entire life. She married Elvy Morgan in 1939, and they were together for 63 years until Elvy's death in 2002. Over the years, she led a busy life with varied careers. She worked as a grocery store cashier, and opened oysters for Minterbrook and Purdy Oyster Plants. Later the Morgan's established a chicken/egg laying business in Purdy, which they maintained for many years. After chickens, Annie went to real estate classes, obtained her real estate license and co-owned Bay Realty of Gig Harbor. A lady who had a quick smile and fun-filled laugh, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Cottesmore of Life Care, Gig Harbor, for all they have done for Annie over the past two years.
