Margery A. Wallace Black is the daughter of Carl Calvin and Mary Helen Shields Wallace. Her husband Richard D. Black.

Mrs. Black lived most of her life in the Marion Center area where she was an active member of the Rochester Mills Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College, now IUP. She was a homemaker and also taught home bound children. Mrs. Black worked along side her husband on the family dairy farm for over sixty years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother.
