HARRISBURG -- Funeral services for Annie Belle Wallace Blake, 100, of Harrisburg, formerly of Wynne, who died Sunday, Jan. 5, at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Wynne, with the Rev. Wesley Payne officiating. Burial followed in Akin Cemetery near Vanndale.
Pallbearers were Brad Blake, Buddy Blake, Randy Blake, Steve Blake, Gerald Miller, Tee Mulkey and Rudy Robinson.
Born in Cherry Valley, she was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was the first resident of the nursing home.
Survivors include one son, Cleatus B. Blake of Williford; three daughters, Elizabeth Miller of Cherry Valley, Frances Andrews of Bull Shoals and Ann Baker of Olive Branch, Miss.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Vardaman Blake Sr.; two sons, Leon Blake and Sam Blake Jr.; and her parents, William Robert Wallace and Jessie Clampet Wallace.
