Addie Mae Wallace Hays, 73, of Steele, MO, formerly of Sikeston, MO, died July 4 2004, at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born July 15, 1930, in Newport, Ark., she was the daughter of the late John and Nettie Richards Wallace.
She had been married to James Merrill Hays who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Merletta Kaye Hays and Carl Lambert; one grandson, Keith Lambert; and two great-grandchildren, Terry Lambert and Carly Lambert.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Kenneth Wallace, Earl Wallace and Noble Wallace; and one sister, Bertha Meyers.
Visitation was held at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Graveside services were conducted after the visitation at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Rev. Don Wallace officiating.
Pallbearers were Robert W. Hays, Jim Vines, Steve Hays, Thurman Wallace, Danny McPherson and Eugene Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers were Everett Hays and Leo Rofkahr.
