Odessa Marie Walkup Bryant
CRAWLEY — Odessa Marie Walkup Bryant, 84, of Crawley, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, following a long illness.
Born August 2, 1925, in Smoot, she was the daughter of the late Charles Roy Walkup and the late Bessie Evelyn Wendell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Bryant, in 1997.
Odessa was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sisters, Gloria Faye Gerrard of Lanark and Brenda Kay Parks of Whitehall, Ohio; and three brothers, Edward Gray Wendell of Columbus, Ohio, Elmer Clay Wendell of Flint, Mich., and Marvin Ray Wendell of Gahanna, Ohio.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, at the Wallace & Wallace Cha-pel in Rainelle with Pastor Mark Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service. There will be no evening visitation.
