Annie was the daughter of Cellie Walker and Lizzie Lurry Walker. She was educated in the Houston County School System. She was self employed as a Seamstress for many years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia where she served as an Usher.
She was married to George J. Lawson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons; Willie G. Lawson and Earl G. Lawson, and 3 sisters; Nona Lawson, Charlie Mae Booker and Emma Holmes, and 2 brothers; Jimmy Lee Walker and Sammy Walker.
Survivors:
2 Sons: Wallace Lawson(Glenda) and Robert Lawson(Vanessa).
1 Son-In-Law: Joe Hudson.
2 Daughters-In-Law: Pearlie Lawson and Bethann Lawson.
Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, November 23,2012 at 1pm in the Sanctuary of New Hope Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia with Rev Dennis Harden officiating.
