Mrs. Ernest McGee of Battle Creek, a former resident of Rice Creek, was buried in the Rice Creek cemetery Saturday.

Gertie May McGee
Mrs. Gertie May McGee, 61, died at her home in Pennfield township at 10:30 p. m. Wednesday after an illness of several years. She was born in Clarence township, March 9, 1878, and had lived in her present home for the last 31 years. She was a member of the Convis aid society. Surviving are her husband, Ernest; two daughters, Mrs. Viola May Tungate of Hickory Corners and Mrs. Mildred Berkimer of Bellevue; five sons, Charles Ole at home, Thomas Orland of 140 West Rittenouse avenue; Ernest Sylvester of Level Park, Edward Donald of 101 Fairview avenue and John Kenneth of 74 Kelley avenue, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Hebble chapel at 1 p. m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Rice Creek cemetery.

The funeral for Mrs. Gertie May McGee, 61, wife of Ernest McGee of Pennfield township, who died in her home Wednesday night after an illness of several years, was conducted at 1 o'clock this afternoon from the Hebble chapel with the Rev. Carleton Brooks Miller officiating. Burial was in the Rice Creek cemetery.
