Mary Frances "Vicki" Coventry Walker, 69, of Springfield died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.
She was born Dec. 26, 1930, in Decatur, the daughter of Elmer and Sophia Carroll Coventry. She was a graduate of St. Theresa High School in Decatur. A resident of Springfield since 1957, Mrs. Walker was co-owner of Miller O'Neill Inc. in Decatur.
Surviving are her husband, Robert D.; two sons, Scott of St. Paul, Minn. and Dan of Decatur; four daughters, Diane Walker and Becky Flatt, both of Springfield, Nancy Herbeck of St. Paul, Minn., and Sandra Forbes of Vienna, Va.; four grandchildren; parents, Elmer and Sophia Coventry of Decatur; four brothers, Jack Coventry of Chillicothe, Pat and David Coventry of Decatur and Mark Coventry of Chaska, Minn.; and two sisters, Joan Snead of Decatur and Carole Doyle of San Diego, Calif.
Funeral Mass:Christ the King Church, with the the Revs. Donald Meehling and Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
