Reporter. Thurs. Jan. 11, 1979, p. 24:3. Mrs. Elizabeth R. Jagdfeld, 92, formerly of 595 Ruggles St., died at 4:20 a.m. today at Grancare Nursing Center. She was born Mar. 18, 1886, at St. Joe, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Steffes Walgenbach. She was married to Henry Jagdfeld on Oct. 28, 1908, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Jagdfeld was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors include three sons, Clarence, Edward and Leo all of Fond du Lac; two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Frances) Bachman of Fond du Lac and Miss Helen Jagdfeld of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Al Walgenbach of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her husband in July of 1975, and by two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Raymond Fox will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends of Mrs. Jagdfeld may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
