Cause of Death: Myocarditis
Mrs. Mary A. Bateman, whose husband, George Bateman, committed suicide Sunday, died at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of her cousin. Fred Creese of 20 Harvard street. She had been in poor health and had been more or less husterical since the death of her husband. Mrs. Bateman was a native of London and was married to Mr. Bateman. She had been a resident of Chicopee about 15 years. She is survived by a daughter. The burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Mrs. Bateman Had Been Hysterical Since Her Husband Took His Own Life.
Mrs. Mary A. Bateman, whose husband committed suicide on Sunday morning, died yesterday morning at the home of her cousin, Fred Creese of 20 Harvard street. She had been hysterical since the death of her husband, and her death is ascribed to hysteria. She had been under medical attendance constantly, and all rumore of suicide are denied. She was born in London, England, and was married to George Bateman. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. George Maynard of Andover, Conneticut, and three sisters in England. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

DIES IN HYSTERIA FOLLOWING SUICIDE
Mrs. Mary A. Bateman Had Been Ill Since Husband Drank Poison
Mrs. Mary A. Bateman of 17 Jackson Street, wife of George J. Bateman, who committed suicide last Sunday morning, died in the home of relatives at 20 Harvard Street, about 8 o'clock yesterday morning, after being hysterical since Sunday. Mrs. Bateman had been unable to sleep since her husband's death. Dr. M.I. Shea was called early this morning. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. George Maynard of Andover, Conneticut. The funeral will be held this afternoon.
