Eppie Walden Crain
Eppie Walden Crain, 95, of Bronte, Texas, and a lifetime Nolan County resident, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Bronte Health and Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home Chapel in Sweetwater with Rev. Norman Patton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer and Trent Funeral Home of Sweetwater.
Eppie was born on December 25, 1913 in Big Lake, Texas. She married Harvey B. Crain on December 10, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas.
She was a homemaker, a member of Blackwell Church of Christ and a lifetime Nolan County resident.
Survivors include one daughter, Cherry Green and husband George of Shepherd, Texas; three grandchildren, Dan Willoughby and wife Sarah of Draper, Utah; Clay Willoughby of Grand Forks, North Dakota; and Dawn Tellez and husband Tony of Odessa, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brandon Willoughby, Brittany Richards and husband Adam, Heather Willoughby, Jeremy Willoughby, Hannah Willoughby, Ashleigh Willoughby, Meghan Willoughby, Nathan Willoughby, Donald Atkins, Monica Tellez, and Joshua Tellez; one sister, Ella Mae Sedberry of Sweetwater, Texas; and one brother, Watus; son, Walden and wife Sue of The Colony, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey B. Crain; a daughter, Wanda Ottinger and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Richard Crain, Kenneth Crain, Parks Thomas, Todd Thomas, Louis Light, and Tommy White.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 20, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank her extended family at the Bronte Health and Rehab Center.
