She was born January 8, 1910 in the Town of Springvale, a daughter to Carl and Mathilda (Jaeger) Wagner. She was educated in the Town of Springvale. On June 1, 1935 she married Clarence Smith, and he preceded her in death in 1970. Lilace worked as a meat wrapper at R—Line Foods in Ripon until her retirement in 1967. She was a member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, Ripon.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Smith of Ripon, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
