Retired dental hygienist; devoted to her family

Nancy Wagner McCaffrey, 80, of Clifton Heights, a retired dental hygienist, died June 20 at home.
Born in Catawissa, Columbia County, she was a former resident of Upper Darby.
A 1947 graduate of Upper Darby High School, Mrs. McCaffrey completed the dental hygienist program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
She was employed by Dr. Larry Levin of Aldan before her retirement in 1987 and previously worked for another dental practice.
Mrs. McCaffrey was devoted to her family. She was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Clifton Heights and its altar guild.
Mrs. McCaffrey enjoyed reading and making puzzles.
Survivors: Husband of nearly 60 years, Howard J. McCaffrey; daughter, Susan Lorditch of Harrisburg, Dauphin County; sons, David McCaffrey of Brookhaven, Steven McCaffrey of Oxford, Chester County; brother, Ned Wagner of Bloomsburg, Columbia County; four grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby.
Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
