Rites slated for pioneer - Mrs. Anna V. Casper, native of the Southwest and daughter of Mrs. Anna M. Wagner, pioneer resident, at 8 o'clock tonight in St. Michael's church. Requiem mass will take place at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the church followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. McGlynn mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Casper died in a Gardena hospital following a lingering illness. Besides her mother, she is survived by four children, Clarence and Robert Casper, Virginia Wolf and Dolores Schuck; five grandchildren and five brothers and six sisters. Born and reared near Manchester and Western avenues, she was married in 1919 to Clarence H. Casper, Sr., who died 23 years ago. The family home was at 2148 Rocking Horse road, San Pedro.
