Rachel Quillain Is Buried Today
Former Resident of Lyons Dies At Brother's Home Saturday.
Mrs. Rachel L. Quillain of Spencer, died at the home of her brother, J. M. Waggoner at Lyons, at two o'clock Saturday afternoon following a long illness.
Mrs. Quillain was born in Lyons on May 30, 1858, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Brookshire Waggoner and was seventy-eight years of age. She was a member of the Lyons Christian church and an active worker in its affairs when her health permitted.
The brother, Mr. Waggoner, is the only immediate survivor.
Funeral services were held from the Lyons Christian church at one o'clock this afternoon and burial was made in the Gosport cemetery.
The Jenkins Funeral Home of Lyons was in charge of the arrangements.
