|Birth: ||Sep. 2, 1873|
|Death: ||Nov. 18, 1877|
This boy may be named "John Carrol" or "Harrold".
George Wagenseller has`written books about the Wagenseller family and about Snyder County burials.
In his tombstone transcription book, this boy is called "Harrold, son of J. J. and M. A., died November 18, 1877, aged 3 y, 2 m, 16 d."
In his history of the Wagenseller family, this boy is called "John Carrol, born September 2, 1874, died November 18, 1877."
Clearly it is the same boy. It can't be twins because one or both of the above sources would have noted it, but there is no burial listed for "John Carrol Wagenseller" and no mention of "Harrold" in the family genealogy.
Regardless of his name, this little boy died five days after his little brother Freddie/Fredrick, suggesting there may have been a communicable disease at work. As if that were not sad enough, the boys' mother would die two years later.
