Mrs. Laura Ann Barnett, wife of Humphrey Barnett, died Thursday in the Somerset City Hospital. She and her husband made their home at 216 Jasper Street.
Mrs. Barnett was the daughter of the late Henry and Melinda Waddle and was born March 23, 1877, in Pulaski County.
She was a member of the Christian Church and her entire life was a model of Christian living. Her love for her family and her constant efforts to help her friends whenever possible will long serve as a guide for all who knew her.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Sibyl Minter and Mrs. Hazel Holladay, both of Somerset, and Mrs. Mable Watson, of Cincinnati; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday in the Denney-Murrell-Ramsey Co. chapel by the Rev. L.D. Fisher,
Interment was in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, Nancy, Kentucky.
