Borson, AURA FRANCES died on December 31, 2002 in Little Rock, Arkansas after a difficult 2-1/2 month hospital stay. She was born on January 14, 1933 in Putnam, Texas.
Mrs. Borson graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from Hardin Simmons University in 1953. She taught for 32 years at schools in Snyder, Abilene, and Dallas. She was both a music and a math teacher for 22 years at K. B. Polk Elementary School in Dallas where she was recognized for her many achievements. She and her husband recently retired from Dallas to Kerrville, Texas. Her many post-retirement interests included exploring the U.S. in her motor coach, taking cruises, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Donald; three children, Renee Brida of Little Rock, AR, Barbara Hulit of Chicago, IL, and Bob Borson of Dallas, TX; and four grandchildren. The family expresses gratitude to all the friends and relatives for their support during these recent, difficult months.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M on Sunday, January 5th at the Restland Funeral Home. The funeral and burial will be held on Monday, January 6th at 11:30 A.M. at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
