HARRIET A. BEASLEY, 89, noted portrait artist and musician of Memphis and Santa Barbara, CA, died Monday at Allen Morgan Health Center. A graduate of Stephens College, Mrs. Beasley spent her early years in South Dakota before relocating to the South following her marriage to Alfred M. Waddell. The widow of T.J. Beasley, Jr., she is survived by her children, Patricia Waddell Smith of Portland, OR and Alfred M. Waddell, Jr. of Memphis, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be private at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the Trezevant Manor Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
