MRS. DAVIS G. LOWERY
Mrs. Davis G. Lowery, 75, Fresno Route 1, died at 12:45 a.m. today at her home following a lingering illness.
Pearl Lowery was born Oct. 30, 1877, in Bedford township, a daughter of William and Martha Howell Wable. On Feb. 27, 1896, she was married to Davis Grant Lowery, who survives.
She was a member of the Smith Hill Methodist church.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Mable Markley of Canton; a son Clarence Lowery of the home, four sisters, Mrs. Verdia Norris of Newark, Mrs. George Swalley, Mrs. Sidney Turner and Mrs. Sam Shaffer, all of Coshocton, two brothers, Fred Wable of Newark and Clay Wable of Fresno, three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A sister is deceased.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Dawson funeral home. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
