Divorced May 19, 1914, Margaret versus Nicholas Voss, divorce granted due to cruel, inhuman & failure to provide for his family

Mrs. Margaret Voss, 91, a resident at the Park Lawn Nursing Home for the past two years, died there Tuesday morning following a long illness.
The former Margaret Gosse was born Dec. 19, 1863(sic) in the town of Mosel, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Gosse. She was confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the town of Mosel and in 1888 she was married to Nick Voss., He died in 1937. Following their marriage they settled on a farm in the town of Schleswig and for the past 20 years she made her home with a son, Richard, at Ada.
In addition to Richard, Mrs. Voss is survived by six other sons, William of Sheboygan, Nick of Buster, Ark., Louis of California, Edward of the town of Herman, Arno of the town of Mosel, and Harold of Fontana, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Lilly) Arnold of Sheboygan; a brother, Richard of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stuebner of Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Alvina Gosse and Mrs. Sena Mueller, both of Sheboygan; 38 grandchildren; and 35 great grandchildren.
A son, Fred, and a grandchild also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home, Howards Grove. The Rev. Lloyd Weber of the Bethel Reformed Church, town of Herman, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the services.
