WILBRAHAM - Gloria (Vosburgh) Donati, 76, died Monday morning at her residence in Wilbraham after a long illness. She was born in Saranac Lake, NY, the daughter of the late Maurice A. and Gloria (Thompson) Vosburgh. Mrs Donati was educated from the Saranac Lake, NY, School System and was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School and Cortland State Teachers College. She received her master's degree from Syracuse University and began her teaching career in Binghamton, NY. Mrs. Donati married her husband John Donati in 1957 and moved to Springfield, MA, where she taught in the Springfield School System for many years as a reading coordinator until her retirement. Mrs. Donati was a parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church, Wilbraham, member of the Wilbraham School committee, and a avid bird watcher. She moved to Wilbraham in 1964 and her husband John predeceased her in 1999. Mrs. Donati leaves two sons; William S. and his wife Julie Donati of Wilbraham, and James A. Donati of Grafton, MA, two grandchildren; Austin Jandreau of Springfield, and Olivia Donati of Wilbraham, and one sister, Rogene Lemay of Lake Clear, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday morning at 9:30 AM in St. Cecilia's Church, Wilbraham, with private committal services in Adams Cemetery, Wilbraham. At her families request there will be no calling hours and contributions in her membory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
