| Birth: | Aug. 17, 1989 Des Moines Polk County Iowa, USA | | Death: | Mar. 9, 2003 Des Moines Polk County Iowa, USA | Maxy, a purebred, registered Shih Tzu, passed away after a 2-year battle with Cushing's Disease. Maxy was the "child" of "Loy's Chanahan", his sire, and "Diana's Patches". Maxy's sire was a champion show dog and won several First Place medals in the AKC competitions.
Maxy leaves behind to mourn him, his adopted parents, John Gray and Jule Loy Gray, and his "sister", Sweetie, and a host of loving friends.
Maxy was preceded in death by his other loving, adopted Daddy, Donald Grant Loy, who entered into his Eternal Rest on October 7, 1992. We take great joy in knowing that Don and Maxy are reunited again at last!
Maxy was cremated and his Daddy John and Mommy held a special memorial service for him at LovingRest Pet Funeral Home, in Des Moines, Iowa. His ashes are lovingly kept in a special urn, along with some photos and other memorabilia, in a special tribute area in his parents' home.
Maxy was such a blessing and joy to us - our little baby! Daddy and Mommy know they will see Maxy again, someday, in Heaven. May God watch over His newest, special little angel!
