A native of Lafayette, he was an employee of Western Electric and Bell Telephone Laboratories in Chicago and New York until his retirement in 1948. He was married to Elizabeth Cochran who survives with two sons, Walter of Rumson, N.J. and Jackson of Dubuque, Iowa and a sister, Mrs. George L. Potter of Lafayette.
Services were held Oct. 18 at Baker Funeral Home, Dayton. Rev. Kenneth Morland officiating and interment Springvale Cemetery.
