Donna Jean Vine
Donna Jean Vine, 57, of Sheridan died Monday, March 16, 2009, in her home. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at RENEW with Pastor Ed Vine officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Born July 12, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, to William and Opal (Gilmore) Burke, she came to Sheridan in the late 1960s and graduated from Sheridan College with a nursing degree. She worked at Westview Health Care Center, then as a home care nurse in Montana. She returned to Sheridan and worked for RENEW until she retired. Mrs. Vine enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pranks and reading the Bible. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Vine; her parents; and a sister, Katie. Survivors include a son, Clint Allen of Sheridan; four sisters, Sandy Holt of Michigan, Sally Vine of Sheridan, and Althea Chapman and Paula Murnion of Montana; one brother, Joe Burke of Idaho; a grandmother, Viola Gilmore of Sheridan; two aunts; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
