She is survived by her husband, Rafael Herrera of Bisbee; and children, Ralph Herrera of South Dakota; Jose Herrera of Bisbee; Miguel Herrera and his wife Cheryl, of Tucson; Oscar Herrera of Bisbee; Lupe Carr of Bisbee and Sylvia Averill and her husband, Jim of Tucson. Also grandchildren, Mark, Heather, Billy and Stephani, as well as siblings, Francisco Villa, Celia DeLeon and Elda Valenzuela of Mexico.
