Mrs. Frances Doldo Victim of Acute Heart Trouble.
Mrs. Frances Doldo, wife of Tony Doldo, died at the family home, 252 Weldon Place, at 3 Sunday morning, of an unusual ailment, aged 26 years. Mrs. Doldo's death was practically instantaneous and according to Dr. H.B. Stowell, the attending physician, was the result of an acute attack of cardia resulting from an organized blood clot around the heart.
Mrs. Doldo had been in her usual good health and Saturday paid several visits to friends. She retired Saturday night as usual and did not complain of feeling in poor health. Her husband awoke next morning and found her in a critical condition. He summoned Dr. Stowell, who arrived within 20 minutes of the time he was called. Mrs. Doldo was dead when he arrived, she having passed away almost immediately. Dr. Stowell said that the ailmemt was rare and that it was usually fatal. Coroner R.F. Gates of Brownville was called Sunday afternoon and held that an inquest was unnecessary.
Mrs. Doldo was born in Italy, daughter of Frank and Rosa Villa. She came to this country and city seven years ago, and had since resided here.
Surviving are her husband, Tony Doldo, and three children. The funeral was held this morning at 9:30 from the family home, and at 10 from St. Patrick's church. Rev. Father C. Sochi, Italian pastor of St Anthony's chapel, officiating. Interment was made in Arsenal street cemetery
