Services for Virginia Lopez, 67, of Clovis, will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton, with Deacon Daniel Chavez officiating. Rosary will be said at 10:00 am with services to follow. Virginia died Friday, July 4, 2014 at Parmer Medical Center in Friona, TX.
Virginia Lynn Lopez was born in Clovis, NM, January 11, 1947 to Gilbert Villa and Pauline Pacheco Villa. She was a lifetime resident of Clovis and was a cook and caregiver. She loved to play Bingo, and liked to cook for her family. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic community.
Survivors include six sons: Ernie and Sherry Castillo of Dodge City, KS, Hector and Melinda Castillo of Plainview, TX, Nick and Sylvia Lopez of Clovis, Raymond C. Lopez and Trina of Clovis, Francisco Castillo Jr. of Chama, NM, Franklin and Paula Castillo of Clovis; Seven daughters: Rosa Castillo of Lubbock, TX, Isabelle Marez of Scottsdale, AZ, Polly and Juan Macias of Clovis, Duve Castillo of Eagle Pass, TX, Maida Castillo Solis and Andrew Solis of Amarillo, TX, Maggie Castillo and Felix Fuentes of Clovis, Margaret Castillo and Brandon Sisneros of Clovis; Four Sisters: Mary Villa and Danny of Taos, NM, Linda and Javier Gonzales of El Paso, TX, Vanessa and Danny Sepulbeda of Clovis and Elaine Villa of Clovis; Two brothers: Eddie Villa and wife Thelma and Raymond Villa, all of Clovis; 46 Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her Husband, Frank Castillo, Her Brothers, Gilbert and Richard, Her sister, Teresa Caballero and her Parents, Gilbert and Pauline Villa.
