Maurine Vick Haralson, 86, a loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully Friday afternoon, Jan. 19, 2007.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Chimes, in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Mr. David Arnold, a Church of Christ minister, will officiate. Burial: Maurine will be laid to rest next to her husband in the cemetery. Visitation: She will lie in state on Sunday in the Great Room at Robertson Mueller Harper; her family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m.
Memorials: Consideration of contributions to a charity of choice in Maurine's memory is suggested.
A native of Stephens County, Maurine was born Feb. 2, 1920, the daughter of Newton Lafayette and Lillie Morrison Deaton Vick. She was married to Robert Lee Haralson, who died in 2001.
Maurine was a longtime member of West Freeway Church of Christ and retired as bookkeeping supervisor for Southwest Bank after 34 years of service.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Merrell Vick Jacques; and brothers, John Roy, Dalton and Walter Vick.
Survivors: Daughter, Sandra Haralson Hart and her husband, Richard; and grandson, Travis Lee Hart, all of Benbrook.
