Macon-Joan "Jo" Bridgeman Veal, 76, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Veal was born in Macon to the late Grant and Marion Bridgeman. She was a retired Materials Manager from R.A.F.B. and a member of Northridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, William A. Veal, Jr. of Macon, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Allyson and David Rosenthal of Memphis, TN; granddaughter, Rhiannon Goertz (Carl, husband), Olive Branch, MS; grandson, Ian Rosenthal, Memphis, TN; and great grandchild, Addison Goertz, Olive Branch, MS. She is also survived by sisters, Marion Gray, Sheila Gammon, Beverley Hardy; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Juanita Williams and Marzelle Kitchens.
