DAISY VASSAR Age 73, of Riverside, CA, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Daisy is survived by her brother, Charlie Smelley of Atlanta, George; 3 sisters, Opal Skinner and Barbara Turner (Percy) of Waukegan, IL, and Dottie Gilmore of Montevallo, AL; her two beloved children, Jimmy Mixon, Jr. (Lisa) and Freda Youree (Edward) sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. Viewing will be Thursday, April 7th from 1-7pm at Tillman's Mortuary, 2874 10th St., Riverside, CA. Funeral services will be Friday, April 8th at 10:30am at Park Ave Baptist Church, 1910 Martin Luther King Blvd., Riverside, CA. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery..
