Barbara J. "Barb" Van Ness, 57, of, Warren , IN , passed away at 1:30 PM on Sunday, August 05, 2012 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis , IN. She was born on Friday, July 08, 1955, in Marion , IN to Robert and Colista (McGuire) Webb. She married Mitchell Van Ness on Dec 31, 2000 in Huntington , IN. Barb attended East Brook Schools but received her GED from Tucker at Marion , IN , in 1994. She was a life long resident of the Van Buren and Warren area. Barb had been employed at United Technology in Huntington for the past 18 years. She was also a member of the Eagles Aux of Marion, IN. Barb loved her family and to be outside as much as possible. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends especially to the beach. She also loved her cat Kitty. She will be forever loved and missed by her many family and friends. Survivors include: Husband - Mitchell Van Ness Sr., Warren , IN , Daughter - Michelle Denney, Van Buren , IN , Daughter - Samantha Fisher, Van Buren , IN , Son - Mitchell Van Ness, Jr., Warren , IN , Grand Children - Sean Collins, Josh Helms, Joey Denney, Colista Denney, Jessica Helms, Chelsea Cason, Great Granddaughter on the way – Khloe, Brother - James Webb, Van Buren, IN, Brother - Joe Webb, Freedom, IN, Brother - Mark (Julie) Webb, Van Buren, IN, Sister - Linda (Bob) Jones, Van Buren, IN, Sister - Donna (Mike) Anderson, Huffman, TX, Sister - Georgia Haines, Upland, IN. She was preceded in death by: Father - Robert Webb, Mother - Colista (McGuire) Webb, Daughter - Vicky Helms, Brother - John Webb. Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 201 N Main Street Van Buren on Wednesday, August 08, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A service to celebrate Barb's life will be at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 201 N Main Street Van Buren at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 08, 2012 with the Pastor Heath Jones officiating.
