Betty Lee Vanness Clark, 60, of Lexington, died Thursday, July 1, 1993, at her residence. Born April 1, 1933, in Alleghany Co., she was the daughter of the late Theodore Leonard Vanness and Emma Gold Reynolds Vanness. She was the widow of the late E. Hoover Clark and a member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church, Lexington. Mrs. Clark is survived by three sons, Eddie Clark, Lexington, Phillip Clark, Knoxville, Tenn., Bobby Clark, Alexandria; a brother, Norman B. Vanness, Lexington; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 3, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the graveside at the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Lexington Life Saving Crew or the Organ Fund at the Manly Memorial Baptist Church. Arrangements by the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
