PHICO, W.Va. — Mr. Thomas F. Vannatter, 71, of Phico, was born May 16, 1940 at Leet, a son Rhoda Mills Vannatter of Huntington and the late Willie Vannatter. He departed this life Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Velma Adams Vannatter, on September 1, 2003, and brothers, Charles Vannatter and Millard Vannatter.

Mr. Vannatter was of the Pentecostal faith.

Additional survivors include two sons, Page (Angie) Vannatter of Ethel and Walter Vannatter of Phico; his very special granddaughter, Savannah Page Vannatter; sisters, Madeline Leannais, Myrtle (Danny) Staley, Roxie (Clayton) Hogston, Rhoda Perry and Maxine Farley; brother, William (Geraldine) Vannatter, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. C.D. Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
