CHAPMANVILLE - Charles Ray VanNatter, 29, of Chapmanville died Sept. 25, 1999, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. The body was sent to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
He was a mechanic for C.W. Wright Construction Co., Ramage, a Baptist and a member of Odd Fellows Lodge 274, Logan.
Surviving: companion, Deanna Scites; daughters, Katherine Johnson of North Carolina, Breanna Rayshell VanNatter and Alexis Rayann VanNatter, both of Mill Creek; parents, Charles A. and Hester L. VanNatter of Chapmanville; brothers, Keith and Darren, both of Crawley; sisters, Carla Pennington of Crawley, Tinelle Ward of Wharton, Doris Ritchie.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapman Memorial Tabernacle with the Rev. Lacy Spry officiating. Burial will be in Welthia Nelson Cemetery, Harts. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the tabernacle. Handley Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of arrangements.
