Eva May Vandruff was born at St. George, Kansas, May 7, 1871, a daughter of the late Joshua and Catherine Williams Vandruff. A few years later the family moved to Jefferson County, where she was married to James Lawless. She was converted and joined the Wellman church where she was a member until her death and where she was a faithful worker as long as her health permitted.
She passed away at her home April 17, 1936, at the age of 65 years. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Herman and Charles Vandruff, of McLouth and a host of relatives.
