Mrs. Blasingame died Thursday, March 30 in a Tyler Hospotal after a lenghty illness.
She was born March 5, 1900 in Maud, Ellis County, Texas to the late Reverend John A. and Lorilla V. Vance. She moved to Wills Point with her family when she was a small child and lived in Wils Point the rest of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wills Point, and a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Her husband, Scott Vernon Blasingame, preceeded her in death on August 29, 1961.
Survivoirs include a son Don Blasingame of Tyler; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Hollister, Wills Point; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildern.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Carnes, William A. Hawkins, Don Hawkins, Jimmy Hawkins and Devon Baugh.
