. . . . . . . . . . LEXINGTON - Juanita Vance, 75, died at her home in Lexington. Funeral services were held at Lexington United Methodist Church in Lexington with Rev. Linda O'Neal officiating. Burial followed in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Vance, homemaker, was born in Lee County to Arthur Smith and Aoma Lillian Smith. She married Ronald D. "Pete" Dymke on April 1, 1948, who preceded her in death. She then married Robert L. "Bobby" Vance on May 30, 1974. She is also preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Vance was a resident of Lexington for the past 30 years. She was member of Lexington Log Cabin and Heritage Society. She worked as a nurse for 17 years and also owned and operated the "Highway Cafe" in Lexington until 1975. Mrs. Vance enjoyed her house and yard. She also looked after the cattle she and her husband raised on their farm and loved several dogs during those 32 years. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband, Bobby and her dog, both by auto and in their motorhome. In all, they traveled in 45 of the "lower 48" states. The trips produced treasured memories.
