Funeral services for Charles Harding VanBeber, 88, of Muskogee, OK will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2009 at Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel with Thomas Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in Elm Cemetery in Leach, OK.Charles Harding VanBeber was born December 13, 1920 in Leach, OK, the son of Arthur VanBeber and Celia (Bruton) VanBeber and died April 16, 2009 in Talihina, OK. He resided in the Leach area, where he attended school before moving to Wainwright, OK and resided there for twenty five years. He served his country in the CC's and then in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of the First Assembly of God. He retired from the Boilermaker's Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Francis Arthur VanBeber, Walter Preston VanBeber, Homer Franklin VanBeber and one sister Mildred Laura Gaylor.
