Michele L. Lane, 40, of East Georgetown Road, died at 10:34 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010, at her home.

Michele was a Nurses Aid and a member of Come As You Are.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Robert Hurt officiating. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.

Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

She was born in Columbus, January 6, 1970, the daughter of Robert F. and Judith D. Jackson VanArsdale.

Surviving is her mother, of Brown County; sisters, Leda (Russell) Dean of Helmsburg, Lisa Black of Brown County and Melissa (Doug) Bean of Columbus; a brother, Galen (Jeanie) VanArsdale of Brown County; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father on June 19, 2010.
