Shirley J. "Jean" Berry, 70, Westville Road, Brockway, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at her residence.
Born March 20, 1942, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Merle and Glennetta White Van Horn.
She was married to Lionel M. Berry March 4, 1961. He survives.
Jean worked at Owen's Brockway Glass for over 20 years.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She enjoyed her family, painting, gardening and loved feeding her deer and turkey.
She is also survived by her five daughters: Karen (Don) Garlic of Springville, Vt., Barb (Noel) Critchlow of Lancaster, June (Rick) Powers of DuBois, Janet (Nick) Prave of Brockway, Diana Berry of Brockway; and her son, Bill (Kelly) Berry of Falls Creek; a brother, Dick Van Horn of Swickley; a sister, Nancy Forrest of Punxsutawney; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren: Bret LaBue, Jeremiah Powers and Savoria Berry.
Friends will received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
