E. R. Van Horn, father of J. W. Van Horn of 601 South Elwood, and member of the construction company, Van Horn-Brickner & Co., died at the home of his son at 6:30 last night. Mr. Van Horn, who was 76 years old, was an old confederate veteran and prominent in all confederate activities. He had lived in Tulsa for about twelve years and was well known. He had been ill for some time from a complication of diseases and had been bedridden for eight weeks. Mr. Van Horn leaves two children, his son, J. W Van Horn, and a daughter, Mrs. Roberts of El Paso, Texas, who will arrive in Tulsa today. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
