BONNIE VAN ALLEN, 68, of Harlan, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. She was born Sept. 24, 1945 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Arthur and Jane (Burkley) Miller. She was a Homemaker, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #409 in Leo. She attended Woodburn Missionary Church. She loved canning. Surviving are her husband, Donald Van Allen of Harlan; son, James Fritzinger; sisters, JoAnn (Michael) Downey, Carol (Bob) Hesse, and Darlene Miller; brother, Larry Miller; several nieces and nephews that she adored and cared for.
