Ila Bingaman, 89, a retired hospital unit clerk, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Timothy Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bedford. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Ila was born Aug. 22, 1917, in Havana, Ark., to Ocie and Ross Valentine. She was a member of St. Timothy Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting. "Granny B" loved her family and the Lord dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Corman Bingaman Sr.
Survivors: Daughters, Barbara Roden and husband, Bill, and Lila Sandefur; son, Willie Bingaman and wife, Margaret; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ola Joy Hixson and Anna Lois Davis; and brother, R.D. Valentine and wife, Hilda.
