Flora is survived by her daughter, Jo Sena, son, Frank Comiskey and his wife, Patti, grandson, Art Sena and his wife, Jean, Richard Sena and his wife, Linda, Frank Comiskey Jr. and his wife, Sarah and Gary Comiskey and his wife, Karen, great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Amber Sena and Austin and Kyle Comiskey, brother, Willie Valencia and his wife, Arcelia, nephew, James Reck, numerous other relatives and her special friend, Ed Ortiz.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Comiskey, sons, Joseph Comiskey Jr. and John Comiskey and her parents, Clarita and Francisco Valencia.
Flora was a native New Mexican and had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1952. Flora was a Gold Star Mother and served locally as department president and chaplain at various times.
Flora was a lifetime member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and the D.A.V. Flora was a volunteer at the Veteran's Hospital for many years. Flora loved dancing, fishing and most of all, she loved her family.
Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE on Friday at 3:00 p.m. to time of the Rosary. Rosary will be recited on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, with Father Joseph Tran Thai, S.S.S., Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
